Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-23 includes $134,000 recurring Operating Trust Fund budget
authority to provide sufficient security guard coverage to the seventeen Office of the Judges of Compensation Claims
(OJCC) district offices. The cost of security guard services under state term contract has increased from an average of
$700,654 to $833,893, resulting in a shortfall of $134,000. Private security remains the lowest cost option for each
district office and the daily secure office hours have been reduced to mitigate security costs.

This issue was included in the Division's Legislative Budget Request.
