Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-23 includes $880,017 recurring Working Capital Trust Fund
budget authority to fund higher skill level positions within the Office of the State Chief Information Officer. The
additional funds are needed to support enterprise-wide functions and give flexibility when filling current positions to
include required Cybersecurity and Project Oversight positions. The department is currently responsible for providing
project oversight for 11 projects with an estimated spend of at least $1.02 billion in state funds. These
responsibilities require highly skilled technical talent.
