Justification
Governor's Recommendations 2022-23
The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-23 includes a transfer of $75,000 of recurring budget authority in the Retirement Benefits Administration budget entity from the Operating Capital Outlay category to the Expenses category within the Operating Trust Fund. This realignment of budget authority is pursuant to the Department of Financial Services' ruling on increasing the Operating Capital Outlay threshold from $1,000 to $5,000. Budget Amendment EOG Log# B7013 was approved for this realignment in Fiscal Year 2021-22. This issue nets to zero with 160F330. This issue was included in the department's Legislative Budget Request.
