Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-23 includes funds and FTE to allow the Department of
Corrections to hire additional positions in its Office of Human Resources as well as contract with a marketing firm to
develop and implement a marketing campaign in order to broaden the reach of recruitment efforts. These additional
positions are intended to address statewide recruitment issues and fill vacant correctional officer (CO) positions.
