Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-23 includes a transfer of 85 positions from the County Health
Department Trust Fund to the Grants and Donations Trust Fund. The Department of Health would like to transfer these due
to anticipated increases of the active patient population and Medical Marijuana Treatment Centers (MMTC). The increase in
active patients and licensed MMTCs will result in a need of additional staffing resources, especially considering eight
(8) of the twenty-two currently licensed MMTCs recently received full dispensing authorization.
