Justification
Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-23 includes the restoration of nonrecurring Child Care and
Development Block Grant Trust Fund budget authority provided in Fiscal Year 2021-22 to maintain prior year funding of $72
million. Funding will be used to expand school readiness services to families currently on a school readiness wait list.
