Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 includes funding to replace 94 vehicles in the area's of
Emergency Response, State Lands, Water Policy, Water Science/Lab Services, State Parks, Resilience and Coastal
Protection, Air Resource Management and Environmental Law Enforcement. Reliable vehicles are essential for the department
to complete their core functions including: the ability to respond to reported events that impact the environment and
natural resources, survey and mapping requirements, regulatory oversight of 404 permitting, water quality sampling,
managing state park visitors and park operations, and resource management.
