Justification
Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 includes spending authority to provide funding for
implementation of State Revolving Loan Program Assistance in the Division of Water Restoration Assistance. Revenue to
support this spending authority will come from the administrative service fees collected through the state revolving loan
programs within the Division. This funding will assist the Division with meeting federal requirements such as American
Iron and Steel compliance, potential buy American provisions, asset management plan development, and assistance to small
and disadvantaged systems and communities.
