Issue:            TRANSFER POSITION FROM OFFICE OF EMERGENCY RESPONSE TO OFFICE OF TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SERVICES - DEDUCT

Justification
Governor's Recommendations 2022-23
The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 includes a transfer of one position from the Office of Emergency Response (OER) to the Office of Technology and Information Services (OTIS) to support the unique information technology desktop support needs of the Division of Law Enforcement (DLE). This includes physical computer repair, replacement, upgrades, installations, and configurations. This recommendation will more appropriately align the Department's resources by providing a dedicated resource to the sworn law enforcement officers. This position will allow OTIS' customer support services to respond timely to the sworn law enforcement officers' computer related issues or failures.
