Governor's Recommendations 2022-23

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2022-2023 includes a nonrecurring appropriation in Information
Technology (IT) contracting services to support the Department of Environmental Protection's (Department) transition from
the Florida Department of Financial Services (DFS) Florida Accounting Information Resource (FLAIR) system to the DFS
Planning, Accounting and Ledger Management (PALM) system, including staff augmentation consultants. This funding will be
needed until July 2024. Adding additional project management and technical staff to the Department's PALM team will allow
the Department to make the necessary business process and system modifications required to support the roll-out of the
state's new enterprise financial system.
